What does each one place in the skin?
PDLLA is poly-D,L-lactic acid, a particle built from lactic acid. On the manufacturer's guidance, Juvelook uses this particle to increase the skin's own collagen, and it addresses texture, fine lines, and pores. The hyaluronic acid placed with it is non-cross-linked. Juvelook Volume and the eye-area product are separate from the face product.
In the post-marketing safety report, Profhilo is a hybrid hyaluronic acid made with IBSA's thermal process, NAHYCO. Its hyaluronic acid concentration is higher than that of cross-linked fillers. The hyaluronic acid draws water, adds hydration and firmness, and addresses laxity. It has been on the European market since 2015. The body product differs from the face product in content and total amount.

When is the change checked again?
A Juvelook preliminary study gave 2 or 3 sessions at 4-week intervals and compared the change at each visit. Fine lines, texture, pigment, and redness differed from before treatment. In the dermis behind the ear of people who consented, collagen and elastic fibers increased. No severe adverse event appeared in that study.
For Profhilo, maintenance is judged at the visit 2 months after the last session, and the same judgment is repeated every 2 months after that.
How many sessions, and how far apart?
A Juvelook preliminary study proceeded every 4 weeks, for 2 or 3 sessions. How much discomfort you feel changes with the area, the way it is placed, and anesthesia. The injection goes into the dermis, and the face and the area behind the ear were handled the same way.
The basic Profhilo schedule is 2 sessions, 30 days apart. On the face that is five points on each side, 0.2 mL at each point, into the dermis. Both sides together are 2 mL. Maintenance spacing is 2 months, and that visit sets the next session. The body product differs from the face product in content and total amount.

How do downtime and nodules separate?
Juvelook leaves temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, and bruising at the treated spots. Apart from that, a firm red nodule and a nodule felt without inflammation are known complications.
